What’s covered by the guarantee?
Two separate covers. The aluminium gate (leaf, posts, boards, finish) is 10 years. The lock mechanism is 2 years. Do not assume the lock is on the same term as the gate.
Can it be automated?
Yes, by an automation specialist. We supply the leaf, not the motor.
Do the hinges need adjusting or oiling?
No. They’re self-lubricating polymer with stainless internals. Nothing to oil and nothing to rust.
How many hinges does a gate need?
Two on a 1200mm leaf, three on 1800mm, four on 2100mm. Each hinge carries up to 25kg on its own. For an unusually heavy leaf, talk to us before you order.
Can I buy the parts individually?
Yes. Gate profile, trim, end plates, end caps, hinges, handle set, lock and barrel are all available as components, so a trade partner can build to any opening without waiting on a special.
Can I get a size that isn’t standard?

Will it match my existing fencing?
If your fencing is ours, exactly: same boards, same finish, same coating line. If it isn’t, we’ll send you a sample so you can hold it against what’s there.
How are the gates measured?
Outside of post to outside of post. That gives you the overall system dimension for setting out and groundwork, rather than a leaf size you then have to add posts to.
