The Simplicity 6
This exciting new product will be constructed from a strong aluminium frame as with the other structures in our simplicity range yet it will benefit from a 6mm toughened glass roof. The glass that is supplied by Pilkington is a revolutionary glazing product because it has UV activated self cleaning properties which enable the glass to look clean and clear without regular maintenance.
Self Cleaning Glass – How it works
1. The self cleaning coating is activated by the Sun’s UV rays. Once the structure has been installed it will take approximately 5-7 days of sun exposure for the coating to fully activate.

2. Dirt will then be broken down. The special coating breaks down organic dirt such as bird dropping, dust and dirt and also reduces the attachment of non-organic dirt.

3. The next rainfall will cleanse the dirt away. The rainwater drops will spread over the glass coating to create a sheet of water. The dirt particles will then be collected by this sheet of water and washed away cleaning the glass and making a significant visible difference.

The Simplicity 6 can also be supplied with polycarbonate roof panels as an alternative to glass. It can be installed for many uses including a high-end carport system, a garden canopy, a commercial canopy for shops, leisure centres and schools and a veranda system for homes.
This product is also available with the Victorian Upgrade which works perfectly with this glass system, the Victorian Upgrade adds to the traditional appearance with decorative post sleeves.
