Absolutely. Most of our systems are made-to-measure, with bespoke dimensions, optional upgrades, and full technical support to suit the unique requirements of each installation.
No – Milwood Group is a supply-only business. However, we support all Trade Partners with full CAD drawings, installation videos, and detailed guides for every system.
Yes. Many of our systems are manufactured in the UK and proudly carry the ‘Made in Britain’ certification, using durable aluminium frames and high-quality glazing or polycarbonate roofing solutions for long-lasting performance.
Our systems are structurally tested, CAD-supported, and engineered for ease of installation. We also offer competitive lead times, bespoke customisation (to the mm), dedicated trade support, account managers, discounts, and more.
Milwood Group is based in Rochester, Kent, at Europa & Jenner House on the Medway City Estate. We also operate a warehouse and distribution facility in Hinckley, Leicestershire, on the Dodwells Bridge Industrial Estate.
We work exclusively on a trade-to-trade basis, supplying professional installers, builders, contractors, and home improvement specialists (among others) across the UK & Ireland.
We design and supply an extensive range of aluminium outdoor structures engineered for year-round performance, offering both glazed and polycarbonate roof systems with optional upgrades and innovative solutions.
Milwood Group is a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of premium aluminium outdoor living solutions including verandas, canopies, carports, glass rooms, and aluminium fencing and for both domestic and commercial projects.
System Applications
While both use the same aluminium framework, verandas are typically fitted to domestic properties as stylish patio covers. Canopies offer broader use, including commercial shelters, entrance ways, and outdoor seating areas in public spaces.
Our aluminium carports are ideal for protecting vehicles from the elements, whether installed at private homes, apartment blocks, commercial premises, or EV charging stations. They’re a sleek, durable alternative to timber or uPVC structures.
There is no physical difference, both are enclosed outdoor spaces created using our veranda systems and glass upgrades. “Garden room” is often used for domestic marketing, while “glass room” is preferred in the trade and design industries.
Milwood Group systems are widely used for commercial canopies in schools, restaurants, care homes, retail units, and more. They provide reliable, low-maintenance shelter and can be customised to suit each site’s requirements.
A-Fence is a modular aluminium fencing system used for privacy screening, boundaries, and architectural landscaping. It’s suited to homes, commercial properties, new developments, and public spaces, combining durability with modern design.
Yes. Many Trade Partners use our veranda systems to build covered outdoor dining spaces for domestic gardens, pubs, restaurants, and cafés. With lighting, heating, and sliding doors, these areas can be used comfortably all year round.
Absolutely. Our systems can be configured as covered walkways between buildings, entrances, or car parks, often used in schools, hospitals, and office campuses to improve accessibility and shelter from the weather.
Yes. Our aluminium verandas make excellent covers for hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, and BBQ areas, offering shade, privacy, and year-round usability with optional lighting, heating, and shading upgrades.
Many property developers integrate our verandas, carports, or A-Fence systems into new-build and renovation projects. These additions boost kerb appeal, provide practical shelter, and help meet planning or sustainability goals.
Yes. Our canopies are widely installed at schools, nurseries, and colleges to create sheltered outdoor play areas, waiting zones, and walkway covers. They’re a durable, long-lasting alternative to timber structures and require minimal maintenance.
Trade Partner Questions
Yes, a lot of our resellers use bungalow brackets to gain additional height at the back. We don’t manufacture or supply these but we can create a CAD drawing to include them so that your customer can envisage what the end structure will look like.
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee an early delivery due to the fact we have multiple deliveries across the UK on any one day. Therefore, to avoid delays of installation we suggest arranging delivery the day before you are due to install. Please allow 3-4 weeks from confirmation of order for your order to be delivered.
We also provide you with fully illustrated installation guides, please print these and ask your installers to spend some time looking over them before your system arrives. Making sure that the fitters have the CAD drawings on site is also key. This is an important point of reference and is bespoke to the order being installed. The exact measurements are shown on the CAD drawing, not the installation guide.
We currently have a 3-4 week lead time from the date that your order is approved. Coloured structures have a slightly longer lead time and are closer to the 4 week timescale.
Please note, the above timescales can change depending on how busy we are so please check at the time of ordering.
Whilst we are more than happy to answer your pricing questions, we have made it easy for you to generate your own quotes using the Trade Price List and quote templates which are both downloadable from the Trade Partner Area.
Once you have been approved as a Trade Partner, you will be given access to the Trade Partner Area so you can download a selection of sales and marketing materials. You will also be informed of your allocated discounts.

We have standard CAD drawings of our Simplicity Series products along with a whole host of marketing material which can all be downloaded from our Trade Partner Area.
Planning permission and/or building regulations are sometimes required before a canopy, veranda or carport can be installed, this is dependent on a number of factors including the area the structure will cover, the height and whether a building is a Listed building or on designated land. We advise contacting the local planning department for the installation area for specific advice.
Our Simplicity 6 and 16 are available in Anthracite Grey Textured (RAL 7016), Jet Black Textured (RAL 9005) and White Semi-Gloss (RAL 9016).
Our Simplicity 35 is available in Anthracite Grey Textured (RAL 7016) and White Textured (RAL 9016).
Our Simplicity Xtra and Free are available in Anthracite Grey Textured (RAL 7016) and Jet Black Textured (RAL 9005).

Yes, we offer a comprehensive range of unbranded marketing materials that you can brand with your company details including product brochures, posters and flyers as well as setting up a bespoke web page that details all our products and links back to your website.
We deliver throughout the UK and can deliver directly to site or to your nominated delivery address. Delivery is free to all locations within the UK mainland.

Product Questions
The Milwood Simplicity structures can be up to 3m high at the front and a maximum of 22.5 degrees (pitch) at the back.
There are two methods to fixing a our Simplicity carports, canopies and verandas to the ground, method one is to bolt each post to a concrete foundation that is suitable and sufficient for the size of the structure that you are installing. These are normally a size of 600mm x 600mm x 600mm. Method two is to make a hole varying in size up to 600mm x 600mm x 600mm, once the roof sheets and main frame have been installed, backfill concrete around the post (cast in) then make good around the post.
