This recent installation by the team at Getty Glass is a true case and point. This case study sees large scale Simplicity 6 veranda into the rear garden of the lovely and stylish domestic home. The modern design of the home is complimented by sleek grey patio tiles and crisp green grass.
Getty Glass have produced a wonderful installation and we always look forward to seeing their results, with this recent installation highlighting why.
This footprint of this particular installation spans a vast 9m wide with a projection of 3.5m creating a vast sheltered space to the rear elevation of the property. Covering much of the tiled patio area, this install sees the use of 4 of our 70x100mm standing legs to support the wall plate. With the wall plate mounted at 2.319m high, the legs total 2.10m high allowing for a 2.5° pitch.
The outside legs conceal away a 40mm internal downpipe creating sufficient channelled drainage. Meanwhile a poly infill has been used in one the ceiling panels to allow for the soil pipe to pass through seamlessly without creating an open space in the roof.
Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey powder-coat the veranda complements the aesthetic of the property and the patio area superbly. The legs are supported by a Post Foot that is fixed into the ground, allowing the customer to relax peacefully under a robust system. The space is complimented by a lovely outdoor furniture that can be used year-round without fear of the elements.
