Simplicity Xtra Installed by NGT Products Ltd in Elvington, Yorkshire
Our Trade Partner NGT Products Ltd has recently installed a Simplicity Xtra system with the Victorian Gallows Brackets and a goalpost profile for their customer in Elvington, Yorkshire. It was installed over a patio to create an additional space to enjoy outdoor living all yeard round!

“We were approached by our client who wanted a garden canopy over an existing patio where they couldn’t make as much use of as possible due to the inclement weather in the UK. They enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and had wanted a canopy for some time but didn’t think they could have one large enough to cover the seating area for family and friends due to the building having a bay window that was only 3mtr wide.
They were so pleased to hear about our Goalpost system that would allow them to have a larger canopy although like many they were a bit confused at first when we described it.
Initially, they liked the look of the Simplicity 6 canopy system but as they wanted the canopy to be 5mtrs wide it would have meant having 3 supporting posts on the front including one centrally that would spoil the view from the house.
We advised that if they went up to the Simplicity Xtra we could have only 2 supporting posts by offsetting them at the front.
We supplied them LED lighting, Self-cleaning glass and Victorian brackets to give the veranda an aesthetically pleasing look.
They were absolutely delighted with the product and the service as we had to overcome some issues with pipes where the foundations for the goalpost needed to go which were not apparent until we started digging the foundations.”
