So here’s my second inclusion for what your customers can use a garden canopy or carport for, I think it’s important to show that they can be used for far more than sitting under or for keeping their car protected.
Last time, I went through ideas for using garden canopies to grow crops under and to bring on young plants. Today I am going to explain how carports and canopies can also be used as an extended outside workshop and car maintenance area.
Outdoor Workshop
When it’s sunny outside the last thing we all want is to be stuck indoors working, even if it is working on our latest project. A carport or garden canopy allows your customers to work on their car outside in the fresh air and cooling breeze whist still keeping sheltered from the sun and avoiding heatstroke. Also, if there are any sudden downpours – the car, equipment and homeowner will be sheltered from the rain and can carry on working!
Extended Garage
Garages can fill up quickly, whether it’s with garden tools, mechanical tools or household items that we just can’t fit in the loft! Either way it doesn’t leave much room to work on a car. One option is to extend the garage but this can be costly and reduces the size of your driveway. The other option is to install a carport at the front of garage. This option is much more cost effective and can be installed in a fraction of the time, making it much more convenient.
A carport connected to a garage extends the workspace dramatically and because it’s in front of the garage, the car just needs to be drove forward slightly and all electrical points and tools are close by!
