Glass Sliding Doors: New Profiles, Adhesive Handles and Locking Update

We’ve introduced upgrades across our Glass Sliding Doors to make installs quicker, tidier and more consistent on site. You’ll keep the familiar look and fit while benefiting from improved handling and a cleaner finish across every project. The changes include new door profiles, new adhesive-fit handles, and a simplified approach to locking.

New Profiles: Familiar Look with Improved Performance

We are moving to new and improved door profiles that closely match the existing design. That means the same clean aesthetic and fit you are used to, with the benefit of upgraded components behind the scenes.

Adhesive Handles: Faster, Tool-free Installation

Handles now use 3M™ VHB™ 5952 adhesive for a fast, tool-free fit. There is no drilling or cutting into the glass, placement is flexible, and positioning is consistent. The adhesive is engineered for long-term performance and is compatible with fine-textured powder-coated surfaces. Colour-matched options keep the finish cohesive across the system.

Locking: Twin Foot Locks Standard, Keyed Lock Available on Request

Twin foot locks remain the standard locking method. External keyed locks and cut-outs are no longer supplied by default. Where a keyed lock is required, you can request it as an optional upgrade at £250 + VAT before Trade Partner discount. Please specify this at the point of order.

Wheel Cover Fixing: Bonded for a Cleaner, Stronger Result

Wheel covers are now bonded using Soudal adhesive, replacing the old double-sided tape method. This provides a stronger, longer-lasting fixing with a neater finish. Full details will be reflected in the revised installation guide.
