Milwood Group’s A-Fence aluminium fencing system has been expertly installed by our Trade Partner, Lifestyle Canopies, in a bespoke boundary and gate project at the home of Managing Director, Steve. This standout installation features a combination of wall-mounted fencing panels, a slatted pedestrian gate, and a matching double-leaf driveway gate, all fabricated using a mix of A-Fence slat profiles to create a visually striking and cohesive finish.

Based in the North West, Lifestyle Canopies deliver premium aluminium veranda, canopy, carport, glass rooms installations, combining high-quality products with meticulous attention to detail. Their bespoke approach has earned them a strong reputation for transforming outdoor spaces.

As this was a personal project, Steve chose not to use Milwood’s standard CAD process and instead applied his own design knowledge and creativity, supported by guidance from Milwood Group Technical Manager, Sean, and his account manager, Tina. This allowed full flexibility with the system layout and profile selection.

Using a combination of 4 out of our 5 A-Fence interlocking board profiles, Steve created a mix of solid and slatted designs throughout the fencing run and gate structures. This creative approach showcases the versatility of A-Fence aluminum fencing and its ability to deliver modern, modular solutions tailored to any architectural style.

No groundwork was required for the fencing panels, which were designed to slot seamlessly into the existing brickwork gaps and piers. Each A-Fence board was carefully measured, cut, and installed to create a sleek, architectural finish that worked harmoniously with the property’s original boundary wall. However, light groundwork was carried out to set the posts for the new pedestrian and driveway gates, ensuring a secure and durable installation without compromising the clean visual lines of the overall design.

The design flexibility allowed Steve to vary the visual density of each panel, using alternating slat profiles for a perfect blend of privacy and security where needed and visual aesthetic interest where desired, particularly on the slatted pedestrian gate.
