The Hybrid Screen combines two proven Milwood upgrades that Trade Partners already install: our Privacy Screen and Glazed Screen.
By integrating our 240mm Interlocking Boards and 6mm Clear Toughened Glass into an aluminium frame, the Hybrid Screen delivers a versatile, cost-effective and visually appealing solution that provides additional privacy without compromising natural light or visibility.
Designed for Practical Versatility
The Hybrid Screen provides privacy where it’s needed without enclosing the space entirely. By combining a solid privacy infill with 6mm clear glazing section, it allows homeowners to enjoy a comfortable, sheltered area while maintaining outward visibility and daylight.
This configuration is especially effective in residential and commercial installations where both screening and openness are required. It’s an excellent option for seating areas, garden boundaries, or side walls that face neighbouring properties.

Construction and Design
The Hybrid Screen is manufactured from powder-coated aluminium frame with a mix of glazed and privacy infill sections, with a maximum projection up to 6m. It integrates seamlessly into Milwood’s veranda, canopy, and glass room systems, ensuring compatibility and long-term reliability.
The privacy section uses durable 240mm aluminium boards with a subtle shadow-line effect, while the glazed section features 6mm toughened safety glass as standard. Alternative 6mm options are also available.
