Our Maintenance Schedule is a simple and short document detailing the process of hot to care for our systems. It’s not a huge burden for the homeowner, though, as aluminium is a highly durable material, resistant to the elements and guaranteed not to fall foul of rust. Also, the powder-coat finish we apply to our products is highly resistant to wear and tear and durable enough to prevent chipping, fading and scratching.

The schedule provides an in-depth overview of the factors that may come into play upon the completion of installation, such as the general maintenance, health & safety, cleaning, effects of adverse weather, and damage to glass or the aluminium framework.

Aluminium is a very simple material to maintain, with the powder-coat finish offering the aesthetically pleasing shiny look that we all associate with sparkling clean. Homeowners simply need to follow a 3-step process when cleaning. In short, use a soft brush or broom to loosen dirt and remove dust, then clean the surface area of the framework using warm soapy water with a lint-free mop or cloth. Finally, rinse away the soapy water with plain warm water. No abrasive or solvent materials should be used to avoid damaging the powder-coat finish.
