A fantastic example of a first-rate Gibson Canopies installation is this recent project in Yorkshire. With our Simplicity 6 Veranda chosen, the homeowner has taken advantage of their elegant sliding patio doors to create a direct link between their home and sloping garden overlooking a canal.
This newly sheltered outdoor living space will allow the homeowner to relax without fear of the elements, as they watch nature take its course while the riverboats soothingly pass on by.
The Sim 6 created an aesthetically pleasing addition to the property while complementing the surrounds. The finish in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey powder-coat seamlessly integrates the modern design of the home.
The use of the RGBW Lighting Upgrade integrated into the Main Roof Bars allows the homeowner to enjoy their patio area into the night and produce a variety of atmospheric moods to suit.
This Simplicity 6 delivers a 4m x 3.5m footprint and with 6mm clear glass in the roof panels, the home is truly opened up and a large new area of useable living space is available. The homeowner was delighted with the results and we’re really pleased with this one, too.
Another excellent Gibson Canopies installation was this stunning Sim 6 Canopy chosen to extend the use of this chalet. The deck platform allows for a scenic overview of the beautiful surrounding landscape, with the Simplicity 6 now creating a shelter to provide year-round use.
This Simplicity 6 Canopy comes a 4.2m length and a 3m projection, providing cover to the whole deck area. Given the exposed location, the deck will really benefit from this new shelter from the wind and rain. The 6mm clear glass in the roof panel will allow for full enjoyment of the sun’s rays.
Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey powder-coat, the canopy is able to truly blend into the polished wood aesthetic of the property and gives a great overall visual impact. The resulting outcome once again shows off the superb work by Gibson Canopies while the homeowner can be excited about optimising the use of their outdoor living space all year-round.
One final Gibson project to look at in detail and this one is a real peach. A ultra-wide commercial canopy was chosen for this delightful wedding venue in Yorkshire. The owner has made use of our versatile and modern Simplicity Xtra to create a large sheltered area for the patioed outdoor event space.
With regular use of the venue, there was a desire to create a multi-functional environment available to guests at all times. Now many wedding guests will be able to make use of the extended coverage, whatever the weather and late into the night as they celebrate.
The Gibson team made a perfect job of installing this 8-metre long by 2.5m projection canopy. Bearing in mind the commercial nature of the space and the high volumes of partygoers, robustness and durability is key and the combination of our very strong Sim Xtra and the quality of the installation work itself provide the venue owner with true peace-of-mind.
With 6mm grey-tinted glass, a shaded area has been created for the sunnier months. Due to the Simplicity Xtra being compatible with our spotlight upgrade, the venue can now further accommodate events that may run into the twilight hours. To achieve the extended nature of the 8m length canopy, an additional support leg was used to provide adequate and safe support.
Now, many future wedding guests will be able to take advantage of the new possibilities the additional space offers to the venue. An additional benefit for the owners is being able to now accommodate more guests comfortably, adding additional value to their business. The RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey finish matches the furniture and decor well, adding a complementary feel to the surroundings.
