Incredible Veranda Installation Victorian Upgrade Somerset Southern Conservatories Limited

This recent project in Wedmore, Somerset, by our Trade Partners at Southern Conservatories Limited is a great way to highlight the difference a Milwood Veranda can make to your range. This homeowner hoped to transform their garden into a multi-functional area, making it ideal for outdoor dining and parties all year round.

Southern have been an active Trade Partner of ours since December 2021, working alongside our South Western Distributor of the Milwood Group, All Weather Canopies.

Half of one side elevation is covered with a glazed infill to create a more sheltered area, in addition to the use of our Infrared Heater upgrade. A retractable wind break was also installed to accompany the glazed infill, to increase the area concealed from inclement weather. Our RGB LED Lighting will create sufficient lighting for evening use while offering a fantastic garden party feature.

This Sim 6 veranda sees the use of our Victorian Upgrade package with Victorian Gallow Brackets and Bases for the standing support legs, of which four were used to provide ample support as the width spans 7.5m, with a projection of 2.75m. A new pathway now extends to the garden shed, limiting the amount of time the homeowner will be at threat from sudden downpours.

Finished in our standard RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, the internal downpipe drainage will keep this feature hidden from view, creating a more pleasant aesthetic. The use of our grey-tinted glass will create a shaded area while still allowing for immersive views. The garden patio was changed to suit the size of the Sim 6, with a lovely patterned design complementing the Victorian upgrades seamlessly.
