Lovely Walkway Canopy installation in Whitstable, Kent, installed by our Trade Partner SBI Limited
Milwood Group offer a wide variety of outdoor living solutions such as aluminium verandas, canopies, and carports. However, due to the versatility of our modular designs, our products can also be used to create walkway canopies to create a newly sheltered space for domestic homes or commercial properties.
We recently received these pictures from a completed project in Whitstable, Kent, from our Trade Partners, SBI Limited. By using our most popular Simplicity 6 system, SBI were able to create a lovely widespan walkway canopy at this modern domestic home.
SBI have been associated with the Milwood Group for over 5 years and are directly responsible for hundreds of successful outdoor living projects across our years of trade.
By using our goal post height solutions, the homeowner was able to see their walkway canopy extend the entire length of their home, including a section where the corner was slightly inset. A poly infill was used in order to accommodate the pipework to the side elevation of the property allowing for seamless integration.
The Simplicity 6 spans a total of 11.4m wide, and therefore requires the use of five 70x70mm standing posts in total in order to provide a robust level of support. One of the end posts has been inset in order to allow for other work that is ongoing, however a cantilever beam section has allowed the canopy to extend providing additional protection.
Finished in our standard RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, our most popular powder coat finish, the system truly complements the modern home, while the 6mm Clear Toughened Glass will allow for panoramic views and secure protection from the elements.
