Our newest Trade Partner is Outershade. Based in Surrey and Buckinghamshire, Outershade are outdoors structures experts and offer a wide range of design and installation services to transform outside living spaces.
Their debut installation of a Milwood Group veranda in Guildford is a great example of their skills.
The homeowner selected our ever-popular Simplicity 6 veranda to provide cover to their patio area. With a 6.78m length and 3m projection, the veranda provides a large footprint and spans across the French doors, allowing for the home to be opened to the fresh air come rain or shine.
Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey powder-coat and with 6mm clear toughened glass to the roof panels, the veranda delivers a stylish and streamlined aesthetic that complements the building well.
The veranda configuration was designed by the Outershade team with specific paired spacings between posts so as to allow for four posts in all to be set in the correct places. With a large gap between posts in the centre of the veranda front, unimpeded access to the garden from the patio is achieved for perfect useability.
Our RGBW LED Lighting was specified for the roof bars, providing for safe usage of the outdoors living space to continue late into the evenings. With the LED lights providing excellent illumination when set to white, other lighting moods can be achieved at the flick of a switch by changing the lighting to red, green, or blue. The lights can even be set to “party mode” and cycle through the colours for special occasions!
This veranda installation is a peach of a job and we are delighted to see the high standard of work that our new friends at Outershade have delivered for the homeowner. Brilliant!
