Canopy Pro Ltd recently shared with us a great project they successfully completed in South Wales. This unique installation takes advantage of our goal post height solution that allows our Trade Partners to install a veranda, canopy, or carport to a higher ceiling level or to even create a free-standing structure.
Canopy Pro are specialists in the supply, delivery, and installation of outdoor living solutions. They are responsible for many successful projects across Wales in partnership with Milwood Group.
The installation sees a goal post system installed flush to the garden wall entrance with the canopy projecting towards the home, with the posts required to span a cars width. This creates a unique Simplicity 16 canopy system that creates a sheltered space over the front garden, that could also double up as a carport for a small vehicle or motorbikes.
Anchored into the ground at 600mm each side to avoid sway, the goal post system can provide a robust free-standing system when used with any of our systems. The system spans 6m wide, and 2.7m tall with a total projection of 3m. This allows a shutter system to fit flush under the canopy to provide additional security and privacy to the property.
Finished in our most popular RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey powder-coating, with Bronze Polycarbonate Roof Panels completing an aesthetically pleasing finish. The drainage is managed by a 40mm internal downpipe to control evacuation of rainfall away from the entrance to the garden and the adjacent public pathway.
The customer was so pleased with the results, they opted in for a second system in their garden purely due to his satisfaction with the first install. We’re delighted to hear that Canopy Pro are doing so well and with their customers are echoing this!
