Unique Double Canopy Installation in Dublin, Ireland, installed by our Trade Partner Roofit

In Dublin, our Trade Partners at Roofit have completed work on a unique project that saw use of not one but two of our Simplicity canopy products! Due to the complex nature of this project, an effective solution was needed to combine 2 different products into one extended sheltered space.
The work Roofit does on our projects is always of the highest quality and they have been a Trade Partner of ours for many years, providing excellent service across the Republic of Ireland.
The homeowner of this property wished to create a sheltered space that extended around their home. Our Simplicity 6 with full Victorian Upgrade was used for “Part A” of the project, where this elevation of the property is more often visible. In “Part B”, the Simplicity 35 is used to create a sheltered storage space where the homeowner can reach without fear of the elements.
Canopy A Design:
In accordance with the sketches, three goalpost uprights were used in specific locations. An adequate drainage system is provided by four white integrated downpipe outlets hidden within the downpipe. The Simplicity 6 canopy is supported by a goalpost that is 3100mm high, while a Full Victorian Upgrade provides a slick, sophisticated look.
Canopy B Design:
A polycarbonate piece was attached to canopy B’s wall to provide a narrower looking space, aligned with the rafters of simplicity 6. The downpipe drainage channel is externally white and made from 35mm polycarbonate. Using Sim Xtra posts 100mm x 70mm to support the gutter allows for wider spacing between posts.
Both Canopies are finished in RAL 9016 White to create a seamless integration between the 2 canopies and the home. With 3 goalposts in total, this unique project will see the benefit of ample support to create safe and secure canopies.
The use of 6mm clear glass on the Sim 6 section will allow for a fully immersive atmosphere, while the Sim 35 canopy in Part B uses 16mm clear polycarbonate ceiling panels. This will create a cooler shaded area for the storage space.
